Mission Day Trip

Come join us on SATURDAY, JANUARY 28 for a mission day trip to Denning, Arkansas.

In May, 2011, the small town of Denning was hit with a tornado. It destroyed a lot of the town, and left an abundance of debris all over the place. Groups from around the area came to help, but still, 7 months later, there is much work to be done.

We'll meet at the chapel at 7:45 am, and leave by 8 am, which would put us in Denning around 9. While we're there, we'll be clearing limbs and debris, and possibly a few other simple tasks. Please bring any work gloves and masks that you have, and be sure to wear close toed, heavy shoes. Lunch will be provided! We'll head back to Fayetteville around 4 pm.

The people of Denning still need help, so lets reach out to our neighbors and show them the love of God! If you're interested, please talk to or email Amanda!

Then, we'll delve into the book, and be done around 8. Then, we'll head over to Village Inn for some free pie and fellowship! For more information or any questions, please email Amanda! The first Upstream of the semester will be January 18th.

Jeremy's group will meet at 9 pm on Wednesday night at the Chapel. Please feel free to email Jeremy for any questions, or to join this small group! Jeremy's first group will meet on January 25th.

Are you in the band? Are you helping out for the Gathering on Tuesdays? Would you like to be? Then talk to Trent! Trent will be leading a small group for people who are helping out with worship during the week. His group will be going through SING!, the Asbury reader for the spring semester, written by Julie Tennent. Please check it out here! Days and times are still TBA, so contact Trent for more information. Trent's first group will meet the week of January 23rd.
