Almost 70% of our operating budget comes from the private donations of our Partners in Ministry (the rest comes from the Arkansas Conference of the United Methodist Church).
Ministry Budget: Reflecting prayerful consideration, our Ministry Budget maximizes resources toward God’s leading, and allows us to be good stewards of our property, our organizational operations, our staffing, and our program. Property includes items such as maintenance, insurance, and equipment. Organizational Operations includes items such as utilties, phones, office supplies, computers, postage, and printing. Staffing covers compensation and insurance for ministry staff (not including the Executive Director, whose support is funded through the Arkansas Conference of the UMC). These three budget areas provide the infrastructure to ensure that we can execute the Program area. Program includes funding for items like Catalyst (our core experience for students in spiritual formation, missional calling, and leadership), internships, Life Communities and other student gatherings, leadership development, retreats, website, and donor development. Our 2008 Ministry Budget is $194,247.
Partners In Ministry: To help us achieve this goal, we are seeking 300 Partners in Ministry for 2008. When 300 Partners commit to give $54 per month (or $648 for the year) we will have all the resources for the 2008 budget. Most of our current Partners are individuals, alumni, groups and churches who have come along side us to help support our mission to the students at the University of Arkansas.
Partnership Gifts may be given monthly, quarterly or annually.
As a Partner you will receive regular email updates and messages about Wesley’s ministry from our Executive Director, Gregg Taylor. You will also receive a monthly, quarterly, or annual statement updating your Partnership and giving commitment.
